Breck 5 Peaks is a family-owned apparel business, operated under the husband-and-wife management of U.S. Army Colonel (Retired) Clifford P. ("Cliff") and Heidi S. Graham. It is rooted in their family's passion for skiing and hiking in Breckenridge, which has grown exponentially over the last eighteen years. That passion is an extension of Cliff and Heidi's first experiences as skiers, learning to do so in Michigan during the 1960s and 1970s, when ski boots were made of leather, skis were made of wood, and Cubco bindings were all the rage. They passed that passion on to their kids, Lindsey and Drew, who learned to ski, and later snowboard, as the family moved around the world following the Colonel's military career. Starting at the ages of 3 and 5, Lindsey and Drew first learned to ski on the slopes of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York, while he was assigned to the faculty. Several years later, during the years the family lived in Madrid, Lindsey and Drew took up snowboarding on the slopes of the Alps bordering Garmisch, Germany, and those of the Pyrenees adjacent to Candnchu, Spain.
When the family returned to the States, they skied and snowboarded at several western destinations before discovering Breckenridge in 2005. The town and its peaks quickly became their all-time favorite outdoor destination, where they have skied, snowboarded, and hiked the Breck 5 Peak every winter and summer season since then. The family's years of experience have nurtured their passion for the 5 Peaks and serve as the inspiration for the Breck 5 Peaks line of apparel. Their hope is that this product line—for those of you who share the passion— gives you the opportunity to show the world that the Breck 5 Peaks inspire you as well.
